No. Your browser encrypts the message before it reaches us, and the decryption key travels in the part of the link after the #, which browsers never send. We only ever hold ciphertext, which is indistinguishable from random data without the key. We cannot read, produce, or restore your content, including in response to a legal request — we do not have it.

The optional label is the one field we can read. It exists so you can recognise your own sends in your dashboard, since we can show you neither the content nor the link. It is stored unencrypted, so keep it non-sensitive.

No. The only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in. We keep basic, first-party, cookieless page-view analytics with any IP masked before storage, and nothing that tracks you across sites.

The content is unrecoverable, by us and by you. The key is in the link and we never had it, so there is no reset. This is by design, not an oversight.

No. Reading a message you were sent never needs an account. Only creating one does, because we cannot moderate content we cannot read, so there has to be someone accountable for what is sent.

It proves that a specific encrypted message existed at a specific time and was transmitted through Signet. You anchor a one-way hash of the ciphertext on Polygon and Bitcoin. To prove the content, you later reveal the full link; anyone can then recompute the hash, find it on-chain at that time, decrypt, and read what you sent — without trusting us.

No, and we never claim to. Destruction is not provable: whoever read a message could have screenshotted it. We delete the content from our systems and report that in good faith, but that is our statement, not a cryptographic guarantee. Do not rely on us for proof of destruction.

With an open-source tool that is not ours. From a message's detail in your dashboard you get the transaction on Polygon, the Bitcoin block, and the merkle root; the public verifier checks them independently.
