What we set

A session cookie when a requester signs in, so you stay signed in. It is strictly necessary and cannot be turned off while you use an account.

A local preference for your light or dark theme, stored in your browser, not sent to us.

What we do not set

No advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies. Opening a signing link and signing a challenge sets no cookie at all.

We keep basic, first-party page-view analytics to see which pages get traffic. They use no cookie, only a session-scoped identifier that lives in your browser tab, and any IP address is masked before storage so it identifies a network, not you.
